This Privacy Policy explains how Kodiak Media Group (“Kodiak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit kodiak.media, use our platforms, or interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).

Kodiak operates in the programmatic advertising industry. Some of the data we process is non-personal technical data used to deliver, measure, and optimize television advertising campaigns. Where we process personal information about you as an individual, this policy describes your rights and how to exercise them.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact details: name, business email, company, job title, phone number when you fill out a form, request a demo, or contact us
  • Account information: username, password, role, organization, and preferences for users of our platforms
  • Commercial information: billing contact, invoicing details, and payment instructions provided by clients
  • Communications: messages, support inquiries, and meeting notes

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language
  • Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, clicks, session duration

1.3 Information From Advertising Operations

To deliver and measure television advertising, our platform processes:

  • Pseudonymous identifiers (cookie IDs, mobile advertising IDs, CTV identifiers such as IFA/RIDA, IP-derived signals)
  • Inventory data from publishers and supply-side platforms (content category, format, ad slot, geography)
  • Campaign delivery and measurement data (impressions, completion rates, viewability, frequency)
  • Aggregated audience attributes provided by clients or licensed data partners

This data is used for the limited purpose of facilitating advertising transactions. Kodiak does not knowingly use this data to identify individuals, and we contractually require partners to handle it in accordance with applicable law and industry standards.

1.4 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information from publishers, data providers, advertisers, agencies, identity-resolution vendors, and analytics platforms to support measurement, fraud prevention, and audience verification.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services
  • Set up and manage client accounts
  • Process and deliver advertising campaigns
  • Measure, report on, and optimize campaign performance
  • Detect and prevent invalid traffic, fraud, and abuse

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. As defined under certain US state privacy laws, some of our advertising-related data sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.” See Section 8 for your rights and how to opt out.

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to:

8.2 EEA, UK, and Swiss Rights

9. International Data Transfers

Kodiak is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction. For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us with personal information.

11. Third-Party Sites and Services

Our Services may link to third-party sites and platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. Review their privacy policies before sharing information.
